1909 Hupmobile Roadster 1/16 scale manufactured by Fador Manufacturing Company, Elmira, NY September 30, 1949. Plastic and metal castings, wood. Sheet styrene substituted for original cardstock.

Always nice to see these old models. Great looking build. I remember my grandfather had two or three of these on the sideboard in the living room when I was a kid. I don't know if they were built kits or die cast but I remember I always wanted to play with them, haha!

Man, there's an oldie - both the subject and the kit!!!

Nice work. LOVE the white tires. I can remember seeing some of these old Brass-Era cars at the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum when I was younger, and loving the white tires, shiny brass and crazy "half-buggy/half-car aesthetic". 

Looks great, man. Gotta love the classics! Respect!

This is so cool, a friend of mine had one, and he swung by to pick me up to go to a classic meet... Cutting a long story short, it broke down. But was still a fun day. If you are interested I'll fish out the photos... Is this a scratch or from a kit?
