YBlock292 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 After finishing my latest build, a 58 Plymouth Belvedere, I cut off the tail fins of an old "Christine", I built years ago. After removing the trunk lid I installed the front bench seat of the kit.
espo Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Cool idea, I have seen this done in 1:1 before and have always wanted one. Wife doesn't seem as interested as I am thought.
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Hi Ludwig! This has to be the ULTIMATE man cave accessory. Bravo! CT
Ramfins59 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 That would be so cool in a man cave... Let's see... You could use a '57 Chevy rear, or a '59 Caddy rear, or a '59 Dodge rear...... The list goes on and on......
doorsovdoon Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 I love these things. In the UK, the front of an Austin Mini Cooper is a popular sofa conversion.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Very beautiful sofa for the car lovers! Rather rare base material however... in the real life I mean! Well done sir!!!

Richard, I built one from a junk ‘59 Cadillac a couple of years back for a still unfinished garage diorama.

Bucky Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Very cool piece of furniture! Now I know what to do with these scrap bodies!
espo Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 16 hours ago, Sam I Am said: Your wife and my wife must be sisters. ? Funny how that works. Something she feels we need it is easily justified.
peekay Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Neat! A friend of mine did this with a (real) 62 T-Bird.
Plastheniker Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Excellent idea, funny, very different and beautifully executed!
Bucky Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 I once had the idea to use the backside of a 1985 Chrysler Fifth Avenue, and the very plush front seats to build a "sofa" for the den. I got overruled!!
