Classicgas Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 To do a companion to Tim's unsung hero street rod AMT 34, I thought I'd post my factory stock build. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Very nice build! 1933 and 1934 are my favourite years for pre-war Fords and though I'm a hot rodder I must admit it looks nice stock, too!
espo Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Great to see a stock build done to this high a degree of detail when you're used to seeing Hot Rods. I love Hot Rods, but seeing what they looked like originally gives you a real appreciation of the original design.
doorsovdoon Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 I really like that. I've been wanting to do a pre war build, this has inspired me to buy one I think. Excellent work!

That is a nice looking build, in a manner that doesn't get done very often. If a 1:25th scale Bonnie & Clyde happen along, that thing is gone- hope you have secure parking!
Tom Geiger Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Nice build! Funny that Tim Boyd started a thread about the same kit
Classicgas Posted September 7, 2020 Author Posted September 7, 2020 Thanks. That's why I posted my stock build, to go along with Tim's thread. I didn't want to hijack his with my build.
slusher Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Absolutely beautiful Ford!! Lee you do great work!!

The showroom stock version of this kit is arguably among the finest pre-WW II Ford model kits ever, and your model does full and complete justice to the AMT-Ertl effort. And I echo what others have said; I'm a hot rod builder to the core but it is very refreshing to see a "restored" model in scale. Congrats on a very cool model project! TIM
Classicgas Posted September 13, 2020 Author Posted September 13, 2020 Thanks! That means alot coming from you Tim, your work is always stellar.
