Classicgas Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 I turned the Deora into a what if Dodge had offered it.
Spruslayer Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Always loved the Deora, looks good Is the color sublime green?
Tom Geiger Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 As a Deora fan I approve of this model!
kilrathy10 Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 (edited) Very interesting design... Never would have thought of a mid engine truck... Obviously, it didn't make sense to anyone else, either, as it never caught on... Awesome... Very nice Mopar mods..... Edited September 19, 2020 by kilrathy10
espo Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Great looking build. Very interesting subject and was a big hit at the car shows of the time.
Claude Thibodeau Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Hi Lee! Great execution, bravo! The doors are much more practical than on the show car. Further, back then, people were more "slim" than today, so twisting to get aboard would not have been a big price to pay to drive such a unique ride... CT
BeakDoc Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Sublime, 5-spoke mags, R/T badges.... that is coolness to the nth degree! I know diddly about the Deora kit itself. Are those the seats in the kit?
Classicgas Posted September 20, 2020 Author Posted September 20, 2020 Thanks guys. No, those seats are from the AMT Duster kit.
Koellefornia Kid Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Great idea and very well done! I like it!
Misha Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Great and subtle conversion Lee, a much more feasible solution for a production vehicle. As an aside, the Alexander Brothers used the tailgate window from a 60 Ford for the windshield. Cheers Misha
Classicgas Posted September 22, 2020 Author Posted September 22, 2020 Thanks. Yeah I read that. Its obvious from your pic. I think ford used that tailgate for a few years.
