crazyjim Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Latest completion is this '64 Ford Thunderbolt made as a street machine. The 427 engine was wired and fuel lines installed. Hood and grille air vents were opened and screened. Aluminum exhaust and tips. Paint is Tru-Color USMC sand with nason 2k clear over it.
espo Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Great looking paint and body trim. The color reminds me of Ford's Phoenician Yellow OEM color. I like how you detailed your engine wiring and the air box hoses.
BeakDoc Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Another fine looking model, Jim. I really like the steelies and caps. Gives it that sleeper appeal. Anyone pulling up on it at a stoplight would be in for a rude awakening.
Bainford Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Very cool! I like the style and the colour is perfect.
crazyjim Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 Thank you David, Lee, Chris, Ray, Keith, and Trevor. Went for the sleeper look but I think the hood gives it away.
TransAmMike Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Cool Jim, seldom see a streetable Thunderbolt.?
crazyjim Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 Thank you Gene, Mike, and Michelle.
AMT68 Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Very nice and clean build as always. The blackwash on the front grill and rear panel are very sharp looking.
