BlackSheep214 Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 LOLOL! Reminds me of those “Cure all, heal all” concoction from the Wild, Wild West.
cobraman Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Don't they get dizzy and fly off when you drive ? ?
keyser Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Almost as deadly as sychoph-ants DDT fixes right up. Use it on kid’s bikes pedal cars and trikes too
BeakDoc Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I’ve started packing the wheel bearings with citronella oil. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cute.
NOBLNG Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Probably marketed by the same folks who sell the replacement wire smoke for the Lucas electrical systems.?

Casey Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 This was actually a legitimate concern back in the early '70s when the NHRA and AHRA held races at Beeline Dragway and Phoenix International Raceway, but only for the T/F dragster with enclosed front wheels. Certain areas of the pits (even for the pro racers) back then were on unpaved ground, and underground anthills were fairly common during the spring season, so with all of the activity going on above ground, the ants natural defenses kicked in, and they came out in force to defend their colonies. Tires being the things touching the ground, they were the first to be infested. Pretty sure I recall a picture in Drag Racing or Drag News from back in the day of the Keeling & Clayton T/F dragster with one front wheel fairing filled with them.

You will receive a bad burn from all except the one which is misfiring.'
