1930s Pulp Era Space Cruiser

I got this as part of a package of Japanese spaceship kits.

It's from the series Captain Harlock, but the more I looked at it, the more I saw other possibilities.

So I decided to add some styrene sheet fins, and some rocket tubes to turn it into a vintage pulp style space cruiser.

Not yet. I still have to add a few greeblies, and I haven't decided on a colour scheme.

Aren't "Greeblies" those furry little critters from a really old Star Track episode that you should not give water to?

LOL! Those were Tribbles.  Greeblies are all the assorted random details added to a model (usually SicFi), to make it more impressive looking.
