Zippi Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) This was my test body for a long time and I decided to go ahead and finish it as it was getting a little on the rough side from all the practice on painting, panel line ascribing, and finish sanding . This was my 1st time to use bmf on the trim around the seats and all the body trim. It's always a work in progress. Comments and tips are always welcome fellows. Edited June 21, 2021 by Zippi
ksnow Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Finished up pretty darn nice. Good work with the BMF.
Nosferatu Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Nicely done! A perfect job on the interior, it looks real!
TransAmMike Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 What with all the paint issues you encountered the Impala came out grrrrrr8!!! Engine, interior, paint , BMF superb my Friend.??
Zippi Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 Thanks fellows. I appreciate the nice comments.
espo Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Great looking Impala. You got the body really smooth, the dark color is like black it will not hide any sins. I liked how you reworked the seats and all the interior trim looks very OEM. Nice day two engine.
Koellefornia Kid Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Looking good! Very nice BMF work on the interior!
bisc63 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Nice job, and a very tasteful color combo. Love that interior! Well done.
slusher Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Outstanding 65 Chevrolet! I really enjoyed your WIP and watching you build this Chevy, Bob..
Zippi Posted June 22, 2021 Author Posted June 22, 2021 I appreciate all the comments from everyone. I just feel like I'm repeating the same quality of work over and over. I need to take a step back and do some research and see what I can do to better myself.
bluestringer Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Looks really nice. Great work. My first car at age 17 was a 66 Impala SS 396, I hope to find a kit in the near future and try to replicate it.
AMT68 Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Great looking build and I really like the interior color as it has a fabric tan appearance.
