ATHU Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Hello all!! Here's my Revell VW Bus. I've never been a fan of "multi-piece body with opening doors" kits. but this one worked out ok. I used Vallejo Ivory primer for the upper body color and Revell Acrylic light green for the lower. Clear coated with Alclad Aqua Gloss, then wet sanded and polished with Tamiya compounds. Thanks for checking it out!! 1
Zippi Posted July 19, 2021 Posted July 19, 2021 Fantastic build. Looks like the doors fit really good. Nice job and the color combo looks great.
1959scudetto Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Very nice, Anders - beautiful colors - as we are used to see from you!
smellyfatdude Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Your VW is simply gorgeous. My parents at one time owned a utility van, no side windows. I never even knew of it’s existence, until I saw a flash of it sitting in our backyard one evening when we were watching one of the rare color reels dad shot out of all our home movies. Their’s was the same color. Great job on this!

I'm far from an expert on these vehicles but there's a "1961" decal included in the kit.
Dominik Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 beautiful over all. the colors are so sweet, matching perfect together on it
happy grumpy Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 as others have said, absolutely looking the part. The colors are perfect for it. the Revell kit is complex and it makes the painting more difficult because the body is separate and it is not so easy to put together. I built 2 of these and I can attest to that. You did a fantastic job.
