damodelguy az Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 took the 41 lincoln continental parts body and started to make a coupe. this is one of those 25 - 30 year projects. made a deck on it years ago, couldnt decide on windshield till about 8 - 10 years ago, then finally pulled it out to try and finish. had to lower rear deck some and put ridge down middle. would fit right right together on a continental kit but i always have to be different. it has lenghtened altanomad wagon chassis and engine.
Zippi Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Great job. Nice and low, down in the weeds.
Paul Payne Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 That is a beautiful build, and thanks for showing how you got there.
Modlbldr Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Nice work! It's great to be able to see the "in progress" shots. Helps me to plan out a similar project I have in the works. Later-
alan barton Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Very swoopy! I love the work you did peaking the deck, that is very classy. I have two of these Monogram kits, a blue one and a black one, and I think the black one needs to be a swoopy coupe! Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers Alan
espo Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Looking at the smooth body and paint you wouldn't realize the way so many body parts were blended together.
Koellefornia Kid Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Very slick coupe! Great bodywork!
