streetjudge79 Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Will the 1/8 trans am be released in the US? I don't think they can use the trans am name here since someone else owns the license to it

Oldcarfan27 Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Where's the T-tops? Weren't they on the last issue?

Jordan White Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Looks like release date is sometime in June, and the price will probably be around $180 from what I'm seeing so far. Would be nice to pick up but I'm not sure my wife would let me spend that much on a kit. ?

I think I may have found it here: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10866084 Looks like the picture you posted above. I wonder what shipping will be to the states? I can`t wait! I am actually still kind of shocked they are doing it. I have been hoping for this for probably close to 20 years.
Justin Porter Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Stevens International just gave us official kit numbers for the RoG boxings of a slate of new releases and opened preorders. Here are some of the ones that seem to be the big attention getters. 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 - RVL #7699 1971 Oldsmobile 442 Coupe - RVL #7695 1/8th scale 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am - RVL #7710 1969 Camaro SS - RVL #7712 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 - RVL #7708 2

I don't think the most recent 1/8 scale kit, the '65 Vette, was ever released in a U.S. style packaging.
stavanzer Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Boy, I know others are happy, but that list is a huge, steaming pile of "Meh!" to me. Even the New Tool kits are not in my wheelhouse. Maybe better kits next year..... 1
