Chevy is like the O-negative type of donor.?  One of these would look nice in there if it fits?

Yeah that's pretty kewl but I'm old school.  I like the naturally aspirated engines.

I mixed a little Testors gloss green white gloss white.  A slight mint color.  Might look pretty kewl.

Haha....yeah I know but I keep messing up my stock builds so I know what would happen if I try something that major.  I just don't have the patience.

You could use the Trumpeter Falcon chassis, it will fit some fairly big tires.

Thank's for the suggestion JC.  I have a 66 Nova Pro Steet chassis that is tubbed out.  Just not sure what other body it would work on or if I cut the back half (Tubbed section) off, what it could matt up to for a full chassis and then what body.  All new to me.

Good call on the wheels and rear cab trim Bob.

That color you mixed should look great.

Thanks Dave.  Yeah....like always I struggle with colors choices.  Still not sure.

Thank's Joe.  I'm hoping I do but If I don't get a decent warm day to drag out the airbrush this build may stall out until Spring.

Still playing around with engine choices this morning.  This is the stock block and heads with the intake and blower setup from the Revell 1929 Roadster.

I'm thinking this is a perfect project to learn a new skill like tubbing. If it doesn't work out to your liking, you can always put a tonneau cover over the bed. A white tonneau cover with that mint you mixed up would look awesome.

Thank's Walt but I've already ruled that out on this project.

Here is my last option on engine choices.  It's the Roush 451 C.I. from the Revell 1956 Ford pickup.

My $.02 is to stick with a small-block Ford, the AMT 65 Mustang kit engine should fit with very little trouble.  Never understood why they would stick a BBC in this kit anyhow, would have been much better with an in-line 6.  As far as color, since you are airbrushing have you looked at the Ceramcoat or other brand acrylics at WalMart, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc? I am sure you can find a mint green that will satisfy your needs.

Thank's for your input Ricky.  I think I've found my Huckleberry.  This is the stock block and intake.  I spun the intake around so now it's a Ford.  It's not a dual 4 carb intake but I think it looks ok as most of it will be hidden plus I can close the hood.  Now it's a bit of a sleeper.  The air cleaner is off the 1956 Ford Foose addition engine.  I'll call this a 302 Hybrid.  I have airbrushed a lot of the craft paints and Anita's and Ceramcoat is what I always went for.  Airbrushing the Testors enamel seems to turn out with a much better finish, at least for me.

I like that engine look the best. If you had decided to tub the back and put massive meats under it, then I'd have wanted something sticking up out of the hood.

This is looking good Bob. I like the stock engine also. I airbrushed Testors enamels back a long time ago, never got good results, but I was inexperienced and was using one of those Testors 10 dollar AB. I should give it another try.

That engine does look the best. Yup, I agree.

Thanks James.  I've airbrushed bumpers with testors before and then I sprayed my 34 Modified and it came out nice.  Hopeing for some good results again. I like how it sprays and levels out.

That looks about right for a streetable Falcon.  Any more motor and you would need serious suspension/wheel/tire upgrades.
