cobraman Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Just finished up the second one of these . I really like this simple kit . This one is painted with Tamiya Metallic Orange TS 92 . Was cleared with Duplicolor 1k clear . Roof painted with Short Cuts flat black . Interior is white with kit decals . Wheels were sprayed with Testors Black Chrome . 1
cobraman Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 Never noticed that spot on the hood. Have to see if I can fix that.
bisc63 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 Another home run! Nice color choice, too. If you're fixing things anyway, you might want to foil those rocker panel trim pieces. Revell molded on the optional stainless trim for the rockers; not every '57 kit does that.
Zippi Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 That's one slick looking 57 with that color combo. Nicely done.
cobraman Posted January 9, 2022 Author Posted January 9, 2022 Thanks guys. Rusty, if I had some good BMF your right I would have applied some to the body.
Cool Hand Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 (edited) Another great looking build of this kit Ray, the colours you chose are a nice combo. Well done. You have pretty much influenced and inspired me with your builds, I will dig my kit out tomorrow for a suss. Edited January 9, 2022 by Cool Hand
Jonathan Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I've built three of those now - it's a great little kit. I really like your color choice.
ewetwo Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Nice Ray. I like the wheel much better with the black chrome.
TransAmMike Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Very nice Ray, I also enjoyed doing that kit☝️
