Technology in use today by several different companies is used for what is often referred to as "Keep Full" where a company would often visit vendors to refill the inventory in the dispenser. The company that uses this technology can know remotely what the vending machine or tank of some product has in stock, level of use or sale in the past determine time frame so that they know whether or not there is a need for additional restocking or if there is sufficient inventory present so that they would not need to visit that sight.
