This the Aoshima MGB kit built using the C1 Models resin trans kit .  Basically built out of the box  , only things added are the license plate and a rubber gasket under the fuel cap .  It's painted Tamiya Brilliant Orange , not super shiny but I kinda like it .  Only thing I missed was the right side wiper should have been moved inward 1/4 inch , didn't notice that until it was too late .  Thanks for looking , all comments welcome .

Beautiful GT. The colour looks great, and the less-than-super shiny paint looks just right (I’m not a fan of over-shine).  Nice work on the glass. Very tidy build. I like. Makes me want to break out my own GT and have at it.

Fantastic job. The paint finish looks just right - not being super shiny.

How did you do the trim on the front and rear screens? I see chrome trim with a black outline to simulate the rubber.  Is it just careful painting?

Thanks Bruce !  I wanted something close to the original Bronze Yellow color .

Thank you Trevor !  I'm not a big fan of the show car polished finish either , most of my models are street driven cars .

Thanks very much Sonny !  I masked the body and sprayed Tamiya Rubber Black , then cut thin strips of foil for the molding .  It worked fairly well but did need some touch-up with a fine brush and some Molotow .

Looks really good. And I think your paint finish adds to the realism. I don't recall ever seeing these with super glossy finishes.

Thanks much Dan !

Great job!  My wife owned a GT (1973) when we dated.  Hers was blue and a lot of fun to drive.  It became too unreliable in the winter and on rainy days so it was traded in on a VW Rabbit.  Less fun, but started every time. Today we own a roadster MGB and a MGA only driven on warm sunny days.  I love the paint job you did, very nice build.
