Here's one I converted from a Revell 109.

From a 4 door station wagon into a 2 door pickup:

A neat old Jeep I saw on St Thomas.  It was stretched and a local pickup box was put on the back. But the more I looked at the pictures, the more I was thinking  "Hey I could build that!" You know that haunting feeling that won't go away.

IMG_5616.jpg.bc9792609332c5e751a7fad26303a3ff.jpg

Started playing with cardboard before committing the design to plastic. This is over a stretched chassis

IMG_5652.jpg.60ecfadcaa4e667a9e8bbc9a1cd1c471.jpg

Then we used the NNL East 1/25 scale and centering tool to do the job!

IMG_5655.jpg.ac97b3c140e2f99c5aac2e5a1afa30a3.jpg

Started with the seat area...

IMG_5787.jpg.9b2434cbcbc51a15e5e5907b4a65e024.jpg

Then fabricated the box...

IMG_5788.jpg.95820f186205654788583d8b2d87960a.jpg

Since I just had 2 photos, I had to work proportions to get the right look

IMG_5792.jpg.310f498cdd1b4f769e034db3d5517458.jpg

And here we are today..  It's fun to play with plastic!

I clearly need to focus!

Model Car Ranch has the facia and grill parts. The item is listed as out of stock, but you can still order one.

Please post some photos of your project when it's finished.

How do I order one if they're out?, I'd love to, just wondering how to go about it...

Resin Model Ranch's web site directs us to email them (rmr@gmail.com) to inquire about availability and time frame for parts listed as not available.

I have found them to be responsive and reliable. Good luck!

One from the idea board. Just have to put up the $$ for the gmc w/t grille to set the transformation.

I have the extended cab 3500 version in the works. I haven't started a thread about it, but maybe I should.

Just a couple of wrecks from the parts bins, had some ideas late one night and these kinda fell out of a box. We will see if anything good comes of one or maybe both

My brothers came down last weekend for a visit and one of them helped me thin the stash a little bit. I gave him my 78 blazer kit and a 1/24 nascar kit to go under it. We got the wheel base and ride height dialed and he'll be finishing it at his place.

My Ford truck is chopped, channeled and sectioned. The axles have been moved to sit on top of the leaf springs to lower it further.
