OldTrucker Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 C600 stake bed kit built as a C900 semi tractor. Cab hits grill so won't tilt all the way. Mirrors were a real pain but after three times reassembling got them right. 3
iamsuperdan Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Looks good. 100% agree on the mirrors. Really fiddly, and I found them hard to assemble.
Oldmopars Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I love it, looks great. My all time favorite truck.
Mopar - D Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Johnny great job on Ford. Do you have a trailer for it yet?

I'm building a Lindberg box trailer that I was going to use behind it. Was thinking it was too big but then I do remember local cartage companies here using the C900's to pull full size trailers.
happy grumpy Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Great looking Ford. Nicely put together, Nice color and great job on the window trim.
Dutzie Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Nice looking C900, excellent work. I learned how to drive a semi in a C900.
rekcirb13 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 Johnny, Beautiful, neat, clean job!! Very nice!! Bob
Doug 1061 Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 Very nice. I remember when you couldn't go anywhere without seeing one of these on the road. Haven't seen one in years.
Bills72sj Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Nicely done Ford. I built one back in the 70's. Haven't owned one since.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 This one looks so vintage it looks like it just drove right out of a Ford brochure.

Chariots of Fire Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Well done! Rear view mirrors can be a real pain, especially when the parts are so out of scale. I found a way to make the brackets using long straight pins and some solder that seems to work pretty well. They can be mounted by drilling small holes the size of the pins in the door.
