AMT '57 Chevy Street Machine Model Kit

I finally completed this model after some paint issues and a bout with COVID.

I'm not at all satisfied with the pictures but after taking a bunch I said screw it and gave up trying to get what I would consider acceptable (to me at least) so here are a few not too bad ones.

If anyone looked at the WIP pics you would see I used Stynylrez gray primer, Createx Gold pearl mid coat and Createx Purple pearl topcoat. Clear is Future.

The wheels are Competition Resins (purchased from the good folks at Slixx Decals).  The rear tires are N-50 MT's from Fireball Modelworks.

That's a Looker Buddy.  Love that body color and the interior.  I really like the pics taken outside.  It makes that purple really pop.  Glad you got it finished.  Nice job man.

Looks great Mike! I like the wheel and tire choice, and that purple looks excellent. I have that purple too, and have a project in mind for it but it probably won't be this year.

 Very nice build. I use the same primers and paints, plus others. That primer is really good stuff.

Thanks Jerry. The kit wheels are OK but it definately need deep and wide on the rear.
