Another one? <sigh> Don't believe I have seen him in anything but Leave it to Beaver but he was a big part of that show. Made you believe he would be a nice big brother to have.

The Daily Mail said that he was not dead, but Close, and that his own son reported that Mr. Dow was in Hospice, but not dead. He was close however to dying.

The P.R. Flacks, jumped the gun.

I just read someone jumped the gun and he is still alive !   Sorry for the fake news report !    Big error on someone

when hospice is involved it’s bad and not long.  Just lost Paul Sorvino, and Pauley of the Sopranos so the older folks have a point it happens in threes….

Something of a record, perhaps? With the recent promos on MeTV featuring Tony Dow and Jerry Mathers in character as Wally and Beaver, they have now played those same two roles for over sixty years.

Maybe the mainstream news media needs to learn to CONFIRM the news before they announce it!

Not the first time.

What fun is reporting FACTS.....FIRST is better!!!!!!

The news was posted on Dow's verified Facebook account by his P.R. team. I am not sure how far I would have gone to verify that it was true, considering the source it came from.

It's not like TMZ posted a rumor or something.

I stand corrected. He died. Daily Mail is a tabloid rag.

Usually, but not always. When my mom was in institutional nursing care her health dwindled until Hospice was called in. They saved her life. Gave her the attentive care that the for-profit organization didn't and she got better. We moved her somewhere else and she lived comfortably for a few more years. Hospice, angels beyond measure.
