zealotta Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Hey Guys!Greetings from Germany!A long time i was searching for a rebuilder to try to make a pro Steet out of an Düsenberg!here is the resultI used the 2 Parts vinyl Wides and used the original whitewall from the Kit as a second part! The roof is the custom roof of an AMT thunderbird!I detailed the engine, and put a turbo in it!And i had to mod the frame!I even changed the Muffler for more sound !i removed the spare wheels from the fenders and put one spare on the back, deleting the baggage box!And a pro street needs wheely bars!the instrument panel was changed to an AMT Corvette Splitwindow panel!I removed the engine hood closed net and used real net so that you can see the engine from the outside!I lowered both axles(which is not easy on this kit)!I have to say it was trouble but fun to build and mod!Especially because the plastic is brittle and does not really react to plastic or super glue! 2
David G. Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Nice work! It reminds me of those retro classics from the late Seventies. Like the Excalibur I like the turbo you set up for it. David G.
Bainford Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Very cool concept. I like what you've done here, cranked up the performance but kept the vintage vibe. What I like most is the new roof. The overall profile with the modern roof grafted on totally changes the car, and is quite pleasing. Nicely done.
John B. Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Very nicely done - I really like the roof modification and the engine detail; nice paint, too!
Street Rod Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 That’s a really cool Duesie! Great paint and detailing. I like the look with the custom roof and spare tire on the back. Great job! Where did you get the mesh you used on the hood?

Zippi Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 A 34 Düsenberg Pro Street. Man....that is just something you don't see or even think about. Very kewl and WAY outside the box. It's a sleeper. Nice job.
spencer1984 Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Very cool! I really like the way you did the turbo.
