That works! A real sleeper there, and right on-trend!

I too have a black one, but with red steels and white walls and the look is completely different!  I have also tackled an Aussie 39 sloper but getting the rear window correct is a challenge.

Cheers

Beautifully done black paint job. They hid no secrets. Having owned a 1:1 '46 Ford sedan many years ago I appreciate their body shapes as well. Lots of back seat leg room. Might think about a black wash on the grill to bring out the grill details. All the trim, lights, and bumpers look great.

Don't know why but I just like the humpy shape. AMT Millennium kit box stock.

Hope you like 'em too.

Very nice Brian.   That black paint job looks great.   If I may ask, what was you paint system.   Doing a black paint job soon.

Thanks for the good comments

I did do a black wash on the grill but for some reason it hasn't shown up on the photos. Too much reflection from the chrome maybe. Paint was Tamiya rattle can grey primer with 2 coats of gloss black then a polish with Tamiya polishing compound. Making sure the body is smooth and clean seems to be the main thing.
