Thanks Mike, I may do my build with a vinyl top. They're such great kits. 

 

That what I did with my build. Wife had a 66 GTO convertable when I met her so since there are no convertable 66 models, I did black vinyl top.

Thanks Alan. I've included a picture of the can and I get it at the home center. I like it since it holds up pretty well to more aggressive wet sanding without burning through the finish. And I polish it with Meguiars Scratch-X.

Thank you Carl and David. The trim lines on this model are molded very cleanly and makes for easier foiling.
