Jim B Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Here is my Revell 1930 Ford Model A Coupé. It is essentially straight from the box, and it's sort of a mix (marking wise) between a WWII US Army tank & a USAAF fighter bomber (P-47D?). Color is Tamiya AS-14 USAF Olive Green. Interior is Dupli-Color Aluminum. 3
espo Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 The clean assembly along with the different paint treatments really make this a great looking build. 1
TransAmMike Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Really is cool, like the "bomber" scheme. Nice engine.? 1
Jim B Posted October 7, 2022 Author Posted October 7, 2022 Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. Mike, the decals are from the kit.
TooOld Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 Excellent job ! Love the colors and markings on this one ! 1
slusher Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Very nicely done sir, I like that similar build from the ox ox art.. 1
XYHARRY Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Cool coupe Jim. Looks like only 6 more missions and you get to go home. ?? I met an old veteran many years ago who was blind. He was a bombardier in the British Lancaster (RAAF). He told me he was blinded twice. First by the search lights, not permanent, and second by shrapnel from the flak. We owe our veterans alot and should always remember them. Great tribute hotrod Jim. Cheers, David. ?? 1
Jim B Posted October 11, 2022 Author Posted October 11, 2022 Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. David, you know, I never really thought if id as a "tribute build", but I guess it kind of is in its own way. 1
happy grumpy Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Very cool build and a nice take on the livery. Great photography also. 1
Jim B Posted October 11, 2022 Author Posted October 11, 2022 Thanks, guys. Mario, the photography isn't all that bad considering it was done with my phone.
Chevy II Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Really nice build. Is this the original kit or the re-issued one? Are those tires from the kit.
