Kims Kustom Garage Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Here`s my Monogram `71 Satellite. I tried to build it in the old 70`ties street machine style. I raised the rear end, and used a set of Arii wheels/tires. I mounted a tunnelram on the engine, I think it was a tunnel ram from one of my Monogram `66 Malibu SS, the black high rider. Carbs are 3D printed by a friend of mine, and velocity stacks from the Monogram `70 GTX. The steering wheel was also 3D printed. The paint is Motip automotive spray cans, with Motip clear coat on top. Unfortunately the decals did curl a bit on the edges after clearcoat, but they are old, and theres nothing I could do about it.... Anyway, I am very happy for the model, even though its by no means perfect ? 4
David G. Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The raked stance, the staggered wheels and tunnel ram, you certainly nailed that Seventies look Kim! I love the engine bay detail too. David G. 1

espo Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Defiantly captured the look with the stance and the Tunnel Ram intake. Paint looks nice and smooth, and the trim is cleanly done. 1
