Hawk312 Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 This one took me 3.5 years to complete. This was easily the most difficult engine I have ever had to work with. It was tricky to mock everything up and align everything above and below the engine (exhaust to the turbo, intercooler, etc) and add additional detail. Lots of details/added changed on this one. I had some fun with the image editor on the first pic. ' 10

mustang1989 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I can't get over all the details in the engine bay. I know it fought you and all but buddy.....that is a true work of art right there.
Hmann68 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Outstanding! Very clean job! For all your troubles, it sure paid off! Underhood details are fantastic like the others have already mentioned. ??
espo Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Beautiful looking finishes and easy to see why the engine would take so long.

Thanks! The shifter was fabricated and the kit center console was modified since it was originally a manual console. The steering wheel, windshield wiper motor detail, and the pace car decals came from the AMT kit. The headlight switch just to the left of the steering wheel was made from scratch pieces, as was the coolant overflow tank. Lots of other stuff done... I can’t remember it all. 1

beeRS Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 That’s beautiful. The engine bay detail looks fantastic. I wish we saw more 80s era Trans-Ams and Camaros in scale.
