happy grumpy Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 My favorite Countach, the one without the side skirts' front air dam or rear spoiler. Just the pure lines of a beautiful design. Not as aerodynamically stable as later models but boy , is it beautiful to look at . The kit assembles pretty much like any Japanese kit but , the doors are not so easy to fit. I chose to glue them shut and even then I had a hard time to have them fit, if you look closely you'll se that the passenger door does not shut properly and after a while I decided to leave it at that for fear of making a mess. The crooked license plate is my fault, will have to correct that. Tamiya camel yellow and TS13 clear were use. Currently working on it's sibling , the miura from hasegawa. Thanks for looking. 8
70 Sting Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 She’s a beauty. ? Wondering if any manufacturer has produced a Countach with doors that fit properly. 1 1
89AKurt Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Looks great! Would it be advisable to thin the door edges, or what, before painting? I have that kit, and 2 other later versions. I like all but the last version. 1
Rich Chernosky Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 That's a real beauty Mario. Lambo's have always had my attention. Really like your photography and the diorama is very cool. Well done. 1
1959scudetto Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Super job Mario - the Countach looks best in its purest form (as the first series LP400). Very nice model in a typical Lamorghini colour ! 1
Bainford Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Fantastic Countach, Mario. Nice build, and the colour works great on the Lambo. I agree with your thoughts on the Early Countach. The LP400 is the only one that interests me at all. 1
Jonathan Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Beautiful work. This is the car that always comes to mind when I hear "Lamborghini". I know they've built some amazing cars over the years, but the early Countach is the one to have in my book. Very nice build! 1
iamsuperdan Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Looks great! Colour is suitably 70s and fits the build perfectly. 1
StokeModels Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Really nice build! I've done a couple of these kits and rate them quite highly. 1
happy grumpy Posted January 27, 2023 Author Posted January 27, 2023 Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Glad to see others appreciate the pure design of the LP400. I will post my second favorite lambo, the miura soon.
