Nosferatu
I finished it. I can say that this isn't my best work. Have you ever been working on a project and by the end nearly lose interest in finishing? This was one of them. I decided to take three years of Corvettes and try to make one out of them. I used a 1955 a 1960 and a 1969 for this build. Being that all those years are different this was the challenge. My intentions were to make a tribute to these years and in no way did I mean to desecrate these works of art. Please do not take it that way. I took the upper part of the 1955’s fenders the front headlights, hood and grill. Then, I always liked the side panels (as well as the rest of the car) on the 1960. The T top and the rear of the ’69 is beautiful, so I decided to use that. I also like the mid ‘60’s Stingray Vettes but it was way too complicated to incorporate parts from those as well. One of the issues was the different body style of the ’55 and trying to blend it with the other year pieces was a bit of a challenge. Also, which interior and chassis would I use? The interior from the ’55 and ’60 were too wide but the ’69 was correct (with a few modifications). This was the same for the chassis. I also wanted to use the independent rear from the ’69. The dashboard was a tough choice but the ’55 won but I needed to narrow it. I always like the ’69 wheels so I used them (although the rear is up a bit too high). I added some side pipes that came from the 427 power plant under the hood. The paint was a flat black with a light spray of silver and 4 coats of a transparent blue over top followed by a couple coats of gloss and then polished out. This build from start to finish took 32 hours. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave

Shark
I am generally a Corvette purist, but I like what you created.

larman
I think you did a great job of integrating the three different styles, that is not easy to do. Eventhough they are not that far apart in years, they have vastly different styling cues.

Nosferatu
WOW!! I didn't expect all these nice comments! Thank you all very much! I thought this may not go down easy as there are many people that are Vette enthusiasts. Thanks again all of you! Dave
espo
I also like how you combined the three body styles. Even 1:1 Corvettes are being converted to appear as an earlier model and people are paying big dollars for them.

Koellefornia Kid
If someone would tell me he wants to blend three different generations of Corvettes I would say it might look odd... But it doesn't, actually it looks like one cool Vette! Nice work!
karbuildr
This is so cool. And that's coming from a real Corvette lover (I've owned 2 in the past). Great innovation, great styling, excellent color choices, well done kustom.
