mchook Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I think that this has to be the nicest stock built Model A I've ever seen. Great job!
iBorg Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Nice build. Is all the chrome the Revell spray? If so, I need to get some. Looks like it came that way off the kit sprue. The headlights are great.
Rattlecan Dan Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Fantastic! So nicely done. Thanks for posting.
Flatout Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 That is so clean! Don’t see these built stock very often, well done.
XYHARRY Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I don't often comment on stock builds but this is exceptional. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Best I have seen. The color is super good. Looks like a real car.
Smitty Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Your model A is an absolute knockout! I love the color choice. It’s really nice to see one built stock for a change.
Zippi Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Man I gotta tell ya....that's a Looker for sure. Those colors are spot on. What paint is the body colors and I'm also curious about the Revell spray chrome. Was that sprayed right over the box chrome? If so, it may be worth the $35 a can.
espo Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 The paint work really looks great. I don't think any real model A ever looked this good. Cleanly detailed engine and trim. After seeing this chrome work, I'll have to get some of the Revell spray chrome as well.
gman Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 That looks nicer than old Henry's did right off the assembly line. Great job.
happy grumpy Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Beautiful model A. The chrome looks real good , I will have to get me some. I like that you built it stock.
Jonathan Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 (edited) Echoing what others have already said - That is a stunning build. This is the old AMT kit? Is this the same that is part of the recent Mod Rod reissue? Amazing work. Edited August 14, 2023 by Jonathan
TarheelRick Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Have to completely agree with all the above, that is one beautiful Model A. Your color choice is outstanding.
ea0863 Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Just beautiful. And that shine is so deep you could swim in it. Well done!
larman Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Outstanding job! This is the nicest stock build of this kit I have seen!
