Yeah Nah Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 (edited) To me this kit fires up all the nostalgia of model car building. I did these a while ago and now I've nearly finished a second pair with the Fiat and a streamliner. Edited August 25, 2023 by Yeah Nah 12
James2 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Impressively clean build from a difficult kit. It's hard to find a mold seam anywhere. Nicely detailed and pretty cool colors, well done. 1
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Thanks for this walk back in history! Back in the 60's I built this. I remember the details. Wish I had a picture today so that i could see how it turned out. Didn't know how to paint back then! 1
Yeah Nah Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 Thanks for all the kind comments folks!
Zippi Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Good looking pair of drag cars. I'm really diggin the Fiat. 1

Mr. Metallic Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Very clean builds. I especially like the paint job on the coupe 1
espo Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Both beautifully built. Remembering the basic beginnings of these kits it's amazing how well they can be built. Remember when these first were released, they were a major leap forward from what we had to work with at the time. 1

Remember when these first were released, they were a major leap forward from what we had to work with at the time. Thanks David. It's the Round2 re-issues of these classic kits in their retro boxing that got me into car modelling 10 years or so ago. Even if the kit itself proves to be so-so, I can't deny it's the box artwork that hooks me in! Edited September 1, 2023 by Yeah Nah 2
Bainford Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Nice work on the Double Dragsters. Good clean work. I really like the plug wire boots on the Hemi. 1
TonyK Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Sharp builds and I like the colors you've chosen. Sharp paint jobs too! 1
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 Yup, yup, yup!! Very fine craftsmanship on these builds. I love that old kit. It's good to have it still around... -RRR 1
dragcarz Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Beautiful builds, the only problem with this kit is deciding how you want to build it. 1
Nitro330 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Awesome builds from this kit Garry! Love the color choices and styles you picked. Really gets the vintage drag vibe. I did this kit with the Fiat as a 60's Drag/Show version and the dragster as a bare bones low budget racer. 1
