Pretty much out of the box AMT '59 El Camino. One of my all time favorite kits. Createx water based candies and pearls with a HOK 2K clear top coat. The "new and improved" Bare Metal foil is aptly named !!! I'm no lover of foiling but this stuff is way easier to use.

Beautiful looking paint finishes, and like the paint treatment on the roof. I agree with you on the "new and improved" foil and with all the trim on this model it does make a difference.

Wow Marc, I just love those 60's era mild customs. You've nailed that look and the white(abalone ?) pearl and roof fade away ,just outstanding. Well done mate.

Nice looking 59 Chevy.  I build one of these kits and boy is that a lot of bmf.  Looks pretty kewl.

That looks great! Nice accent roof color.

I may have to get some of that New and Improved BMF. The last stuff I received from them a couple of years ago is horrible! It doesn't cut well, is difficult to work and I have to add PVA to get it to stick.
