KenFX Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I built this a few years ago using the Eldon kit. I made several modifications. 6
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 That's a super cool build. Great job! 1
Bugatti Fan Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Very nice model. I can remember that nice little Eldon range. Besides the Invader... The Milk Truck, Bath Tub Buggy, Outhouse, Pink Panthermobile are the others I can remember. 1
KenFX Posted November 2, 2023 Author Posted November 2, 2023 Thank you, the other kit is the Sand Draggin.
karbuildr Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Very cool. I think this is the first one I've seen built. You did a great job on it. 1
Street Rod Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 That’s a really cool model! Great job on the build! 1
ybsluos Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Very excellent Kenneth! No mean feat…painting this one. A very cool kit on my wish list. 1

Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Very unique and looks great.
Bugatti Fan Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Thanks for adding the Sand Draggin to my list Ken. I had a fee!ing that there was another kit. I seem to remember that Eldon's slogan was 'Just for the fun of it'. Also, weren't those kits re released under another maker's name a few years back? 1
spencer1984 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Great job on this, it's nice to see one built up! 1
TonyK Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Cool! That paint job is excellent! The whole model is excellent! 1
Dave Van Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 About as well done as I have seen that kit done!! 1

They were re-released by Doyusha except for the Sand Dragon. Doyusha may have been the company that originally ran those for Eldon as all of my original kits say made in Japan. espo Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Great looking paint treatment and engine detailing. 1
ea0863 Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Absolutely beautiful Ken. I hope mine comes out a tenth as good when I get around to building it. So far, I've only gone so far as to get some 3D printed scoops Just out of curiosity, what changes did you make and do you have a WIP anywhere on it? 1
Rich Chernosky Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 V-E-R-Y cool. The masking on that paint job is incredible. Luv the steering wheels...is that one of your modifications...well done. 1
