I still have my 1:1. My buddy commisioned a wooden version of it in probably around 1:18. I made a 1:25 scale version with a marginal skillset years ago. I even made a 1:64 diecast from a Johnny Lightning.

I now have correct 3D printed rims and another mint unbuilt to take another swing at the 1:25 version.

I am glad you like them. The ones on the 1:1 are the only set in the world detailed as they are. They were born with gold anodized spokes but have been painted with the same paint used for the hood and trunk. The perimeter bolts have been all changed from black anodized allen bolts to polished stainless steel bolts. The washers under the bolts have all been painted from natural aluminum to gloss black. The hoops were polished after media blasting and the clear powder coated. The chrome center caps are from a black and silver version of the same style wheel. The Pontiac medallions were custom made for me from a guy in the Czech Republic.

Here's mine! 1972 Buick Skylark Custom 2dr hardtop, converted from the 70 GSX kit. Mine was Flame Orange with a white vinyl top.  I cribbed the front bench from the 70 Road Runner and converted it from there. The other is a 78 Chevy Monte Carlo built from the Trumpeter kit. I'd like to take another crack at that one with the MPC kit.

I had a few cars I've replicated in scale in one form or another. Case in point is my 1992 Dodge Stealth RT that I thoroughly loved and put a hundred thousand miles on. The only reason I sold it was because the northeast winters and salt took a toll.

When I did up a model of it back ten years or more ago, I couldn't find a suitable kit, so I got a dealer promo in 1:25th scale and modified it.

A second car was my 1984 Pontiac Trans Am.

The closest I came at the time was a 1:25 scale model of a 1985 Trans Am by Monogram. I got everything close, but the rims and rear wing weren't quite the same.

A third car was my 1998 Pontiac Firebird.

It was generally replicated in 1:25th scale starting with a dealer promo.

And finally, my son and I rebuilt a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT for him when he was in high school.

I started with a 1:20 scale Lindberg, and had Enkei RPF1 rims 3D printed in matching scale.

This was my NHRA Stock Eliminator car. I owned it from 1977 until just this February. It was a real A12 440 6bbl car. Ran one season with a HEMI (too expensive). The model is what I imagined it would have looked like brand new. I do have plans to build the race car version as well.

I built a Monogram Triumph TR8 a couple years ago and painted it white to match a friend's 1:1 TR8. In Sept. 2022 I bought a 1:1 Triumph TR7 (in Tahiti Blue) with only 14K miles on it. I put a ton of work into it and now a year later, it now runs great and looks good.

Two of my younger brothers had 1:1 '66 Mustangs and another brother had a '88 (?) Trans Am. They sold them years ago so I don't have any pics of them but I built and painted the kits to match their 1:1 cars. I gave the models to them for Christmas a few years ago. The wheels on the TA were 3D printed.

And my very first car was a 4-door '65 Galaxie 500 that I bought from my parents. I have a pic of it somewhere but can't locate it.  When I first got back into modeling about 10 years ago I built this 2-door '66 Galaxie in the same colors as the 1:1. (I didn't take good pics back then!)

My first new car was a light blue, 2 door '78 Nova. Wish I had some good pics of it. Your 1:1 looks to be in great condition!
