Initial engine mock-up. I feel like it needs to be raised up a little bit but that shouldn’t be a problem. Also need to move radiator forward a tad and raise it up as well as fill in the front area and build a radiator cradle.

Got the hot side of my remote turbo setup almost complete.the wastegate "screamer" pipe exits into factory passenger tailpipe so i can still run duals. I painted the suspension components to match a "maximum motorsports" suspension package.

I've started a WIP thread for my entry, not much action yet, but here's hoping I'll have something to show soon! Apparently, when I bought some parts bags a few years ago at a model show, there were some of the Expedition police parts from one of these kits mixed in. I don't know if I'll find a use, but the mesh interior guards might be a good idea for keeping stuff in place at high speeds. At least that's my theory.

Opened the trunk, im gonna move the battery and add a fuel cell for additional range

Doing the same.  Are you going to hinge it the standard way (with the bent wire)?

I have been trying to come up with a plan for hinges.

I really like that color. Here's the glue bomb I'm using for the Gremlin. Pretty colorful to say the least.

The green brake disks are my favorite!

I've finally begun my RX3 while I wait to complete my current build of Aoshima's Huracan.

The RX3 kit is a curbside with not many parts, in particular, chassis parts. So, I'm using this build as an opportunity to better my 3D modeling and printing skills. The picture below is a 3D model of the RS Watanabe R-Type that I'm currently working on. It's nearly complete with some additional detail/adjustments to be made and, of course, the tire needs modeling as well. The size is 16x8.Screenshot2024-01-20at8_25_45PM.png.6dc7852ecc364e56b8c5773c52987383.png

Nice work Enzo. For ease of detailing, and flexibility on male/female fitment, could you do the studs/lugs as separate pieces like on the Gottis I got for my CBR project?

There's a set of four for each option.

Continued on puting the Porsche Goodies into the interior. Dash nearly completed and steering wheel mated with the original colume.

Engine was a bit less easy.

As either the new Revell and the fujimi one are 1:24, the are to high and keep peeking out of the engine compartement.

Luckily I have a 914 one I wanted to put into my Cody Special but now I will put it in here as it as the most less height. Might detail it up a bit but it is pretty much hidden in there

Also I got the thing down to the ground a reasonable bit. See the difference standing it next to my Stock height gluebomb:

Sat that beautiful engine in to see what I got before I tear it apart. Gonna have to lower that cross member a bit so I can get the stock hood to fit, I want to make it look stock as possible not to attract attention IMG_1995.JPG.d90aa21097272f511acade3769ca2e6c.JPGIMG_1996.JPG.9d9d0780fa36708e35ff92b7979586e2.JPG

Don't you dare repaint that engine unless you use the same color scheme.  It's classic.

Tried to add detail to the underside of the trunk lid, and add trunk hinges.  Turned into a mess so I undid it all.

Tried to drill out the gauge faces on the dash.  Was off on one so one is lower than the rest.  Luckily had another dash that will work.

Overall it was a 1 step forward 4 step back couple of days.

I will be Playing this year. I have a Porsche Turbo (930) that i am gona build for a friend of mine that turns 40 in april.

Will be curbside since the kit is that version, but i have an engine printed to go on the side if i have the time. Updated tires and wheels due to missing parts and i might throw in some updated brakes.

Interior will be mostly stock exept for seats that will be the electric adjustable ones and steering wheel will be an other since the original one is lost over time.

Post a picture of the kit later but here is a super low res pic of som of the parts.
