shoopdog Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Glad just to get this one out my stash! I know others have fought this one as well with warped chassis and body and out of center wheel wells. Used a lot of clamps, rubber bands and super glue to try and straighten it out. I suppose it turned out ok in the end but it will be on a higher shelf. Paint is Tamiya TS-58 Pearl Light Blue to replicate Ford’s Brittany Blue. Thanks for looking. 13
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 That looks WAY better than how mine came out. It was a kit that had a lot of problems. Good job. 1
Yeah Nah Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Can't see any issues from here Keith! Looks great. 1
Michael F Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Very cool Torino, my favorite NASCAR bodystyle. ? 1
Bainford Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 That's a very nice looking Torino. Interesting colour and nice paint work. Well done. 1
TransAmMike Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Well Keith, putting issues aside (whatever they were) that looks great. Very cool color!!? 1
Hmann68 Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Beautiful Torino! I’d say it turned out great! Is it my imagination, or is there a lot of warpage and damage in kits lately? Weird. Good job tho!!? 1
Hi-Po Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 That turned out really nice, considering the problems you had to deal with. 1
Sledsel Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 I think it came out really nice. Great color combo. 1
Spottedlaurel Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Looks really good - the colour suits it well and you certainly got around any issues. 1
karbuildr Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Great looking Torino, really like the color and side stripes. Mine is painted and still sitting in it's box, you're right, it's a struggle to build. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 That is a beautiful build! I really love the blue. 1
bobss396 Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Very nice, I have one that has gone back into the box a few times. I built it as a stock car version, the latest issue with it is that I probably polished it with something containing silicone... cannot get the decals to stay on.... 1
