baycolony Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Joe, now THAT is worth the wait! Great finish on this one, bud. You knocked it out of the park, man. 1
Jim Whalen Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Excellent build - AMT tend to get their proportions right on their bodies but other things are sadly lacking, you did a great job of bringing the model up to scratch in all departments. It takes a lot of work and test-fitting to get an outcome like the one you have achieved here. 1
70 Sting Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 It's about the level of detail and finish, and you've certainly achieved both with this build. Engine bay, interior and paint finish - it's all there. No small feat given the quirks of this kit. Go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back. ?
Hi-Po Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Excellent build and great attention to details. Beautiful paint job. 1
karbuildr Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 I don't know what superlatives I can add that hasn't already been stated. It's just an incredible build, the details you added and paint are about as perfect as can be. This really is museum quality work. 1
XYHARRY Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Well done Joe, I particularly like the engine compartment. Cheers, David. ?? 1
spencer1984 Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Beautiful job on one of my favorite Corvette eras - amazing work here! 1
Monty Posted February 2, 2024 Posted February 2, 2024 (edited) Once again, all your research-based efforts were rewarded with yet another amazing showpiece. Well done. Edited February 2, 2024 by Monty 1
carrucha Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Cool Vette! Excellent detail work throughout. Good job on the paint. 1
Steve H Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 Hi Joe, I missed this one after you finished it. Turned out beautifully. The colour and stance are perfect. As always, your black interiors are just awesome. My current build has a black interior, and I am trying to use your black interiors as inspiration to avoid the “black void” look. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Steve 1
mustang1989 Posted March 19, 2024 Author Posted March 19, 2024 (edited) WOW!! Sorry I was so late in responding to all of the great and encouraging feedback fellas. I am truly humbled by all of the responses. Thank you all so very much. Joe Edited March 19, 2024 by mustang1989
Noah H. Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 I would also like to add that this build is extremely impressive, especially considering how many months of work went into every last detail of it. The details, stance, and paint job are all just right. Seeing this model makes me want to buy one of these kits - are they still in production, or do they have to be bought aftermarket? 1
Matt T. Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 Beautiful build! Your stance prep work really paid off. It's perfect. 1
midlineqb Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Awesome build! I love your attention to detail! Keep posting models that you build. I do have one question: What is slow thinner and how do you use it? 1
Dann Tier Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Beautiful!, and i love all the extra detail work! 1

These kits are a dime a dozen so they shouldn't be hard at all to find bud. Thank you for the great comments. On 3/19/2024 at 9:39 PM, Matt T. said: Beautiful build!
