Silvercreeker Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 1932 Ford Revell 5 Window Coupe is done and in the case. Has a Steampunk look to it. This one might be my favorite to date. The color is Copper Fire Lacquer from Barbatos Rex over gloss black. All the chrome parts were stripped and replated with Alclad Copper. The firewall is an original wall from Dragcitycastings. The motor is a VCG Resins Offenhauser dual carb Flathead. The wheels are also from VCG Resins, Rocket Igniters with Firestone Champ Dragmasters, painted Gloss black with Copper trim rings. The brakes are VCG Resins front and back and the drive shaft is also from them. The front axle is a dropped unit from ICEMAN Collections and the steering linkage is all custom. The motor is detailed with Protech wires, boots, fuel lines and looms and the beehive oil filter is also from VCG Resins. The rest of the kit is out of the box. I do love the early Ford Hot Rods and this color combo make this stand out on the shelf. Enjoy. 16

ybsluos Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Scott I love it. Very smooth application of the paint as well as the Alclad. Welders goggles and gears and steam pressure pots forever! 1
XYHARRY Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 That is one very cool 32 there Scott, I especially like the engine detail. Really well done and thanks for sharing. Cheers, David. ?? 1
70 Sting Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 You should be proud of this one. Plenty of aftermarket adds to the beauty and detail and you’ve done a nice job creating the SP look. ?
Phildaupho Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Absolutely stunning. Great combination of after-market parts and the colors choices are outstanding.
Paul Payne Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Beautiful build! Where did you get the plug boots? Really add to the engine detail!
happy grumpy Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 "This one might be my favorite to date." And for good reason ! Well, it's certainly the most striking color theme I've seen on this kind of build. I just love it. The build, the details, the photography. You just nailed it.
espo Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 This build has the "look" and the stance. Great color and the way the engine and suspension colors all work together. Very clean looking mechanical details. 1
bobss396 Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Very cool build. I use a lot of VCG and Iceman parts. VCG has a couple of QC rears I like. One is make for the Revell 32 kit.
NOBLNG Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Beautiful work Scott! I like how the two coppers complement each other, and that engine is a work of art.?? 1

Those are from Pro-Tech, I ordered them from ICEMAN Collections. They come in 90' or 45'. They are very small, but worth it
Curvette1 Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Your color choices, detail and painting are outstanding. Super nice build.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Sinister! Fun to see. That dropped front axle is very cool. Thanks for this.
