Well...it was new 60 years ago. Love these Craftsman Series kits. It brings you back to...... (insert your own special place, time, memory, etc..)

Wished the top fender body trim was better defined, kinda teetered out in spots on the way to the rear. Kudos for extra taillight lenses & headlights. My fat fingers NFL punt one lenses to the no find zone.....still looking and combing thru the vacumn cleaner bag.

Tamiya TS-54 Light Met. Blue & some parts box rims/tire combo so it can look tough around my Mopar crowd.

Great color choice and the finish looks great. Clean looking body trim. As you mentioned, this brings you back to 1964. Actually, it was Sept. of 1963 and a guy I knew bought the first '64 Chevelle SS that came into the old Jack Coyle Chevrolet in San Bernardino Ca. He traded in his '63 Impala SS and not much money for a Yellow with Black interior SS that had the 220 hp 283 and 4-speed, that was the hottest setup at the start of production. The 327's didn't appear until later in '64. At the time it would draw far more attention than you might think. Thats my experience along with trying to help keeping rear tires under it.
