Looking through the wish lists on here has been interesting.

Some of the wishes are already available in 1/24th scale but mostly not in regular plastic.

Monogram did a Triumph TR7 hard top that could be converted to a rag top.

The wedge shaped Lagonda I believe someone has 3D printed a kit as a project but not sure if they planned on selling them as kits.

The Citroen SM is available in resin from a Ukranian company.

C1 Models and Motobitz both in the UK makes trans kits to convert the Revell Land Rover. C1 makes a lovely resin trans kit to make one of the Bowler special Land Rovers from the Spectre Bond film.

Jaguar XJ6 Saloon in white metal from UK company K&R Replicas.

MGA (and other MGs) from either South Eastern (ex Wills) Finecast and Autokits white metal kit ranges now being sold by Squires of Bognor Regis, Sussex UK.

Sorry about the repeat guys.    Hit the quote function by mistake !

As far as pre WW2 cars go,  Europe is pretty well represented in 1/24 scale plastic, though these two have been overlooked, and that needs to be corrected

Alfa Romeo 2900B Mille Miglia

Some of the flambouyant work of Figoni and Falaschi would also be nice.

There are so many I'd like to see!

But, some standouts...full detail of course.

Ford Capri 2.8i Injection. The last of the Capris.

All great choices, but I'd especially like those last three. I'd even like it if Monogram could rerelease their curbside Capri or AMT rereleased their 1/25th kit with stock parts.

Richard.     You can get a Bugatti Atlantic in 1/24th scale, but it is a die cast made by Burago I think. I have a couple but they need a bit of work doing to improve them. Decent wire wheels and tyres would be a good start.

A car I left off of my previous post drove past me this morning: Lotus Elise. I can also add the Emira and Emira GT4, and a first generation Esprit Turbo to the list.

The collaboration between Italy's Ghia and Chrysler in the 1950s produced some stunning blends of European aesthetics and US V8 muscle.

These got my attention when I was very young, one of them actually having been either on the cover of or featured in a children's picture book on cars.

Though never produced in series and largely unknown today, I'd really love to see one kitted. But it's another pipedream that will never happen.

I'm not really into supercars so I'd like to see the bread and butter stuff (or 'grey porridge' as the late Michael Sedgwick called it)

I'd be happy with any British Fords from the 50's - 80's... lots of period customising potential!

Yes, Fujimi’s is a very nice S1 car (normally aspirated). The Turbo was a later version (S3?) with some distinctive bodywork added in addition to the turbo. It’s a shame Fujimi never followed up with a turbo version. Even a resin conversion for the Fujimi kit would be welcome. The Monogram kit is the second generation Esprit which had redesigned body, among other changes. I haven’t been able to work up the courage to tackle my Monogram kit. I’ve heard too many horror stories about it!?

It looks like the Monogram kit is an early X180 model. I would love to see an S3 turbo, like the one from the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only!

I would love see some of the modern exotics made into a very well detailed models. Like Tamiya or Aoshima. I love Revell, but their LaFerrari can not even begin to compare with Tamiya's. Anyway...

How about some Koenigseggs? I don't know why nobody has made any. They have so many variations that One basic kit could be marketed as at least 5 different kits with just different aero accessories.

Some Bugatti's would also be nice. Veyrons and Chirons. Again, Veyrons could be marketed as many different kits with minimal mods between them.

There is a complete lack of modern Ferrari models. Latest models made are the F12 by Fujimi and the LaFerrari FXXK by Tamiya. And those are ten year old models. I would love to see the Monza SP1 and SP2 in model form and also the Daytona SP3. There is SEVEN generations of V8 Ferraris missing and Fujimi is missing the opportunity to make at least two more models based on the F12.

Last, but not least, what I think is the elephant in the room is the total lack of models of Audis and Benzes. Especially the lucrative proposition of making a base model that all the tuned up upgrades could be added to in subsequent kit variants. Make an E-class (W212) and then the Wagon and the convertible and then add the AMG versions and then the Brabus versions and you end up with 9 kits that will share 80% of the parts in them. Aoshima did it with the Lambos and they have been a great success. And these are kits that would definitely bring some fresh blood to the hobby.

I have a theory, maybe a hope, that some individual or company will start producing limited run 3D kits of vehicles that wouldn't make financial sense for traditional tooling. Many of these cars might not sell in quantities to tempt a big tooling investment, but could make perfect sense for someone with enough 3D printers to run out 100, maybe more. Not me, unless I hit the lottery, but I can hope.

I just want to add any of the modern day Alfa Romeos. The C8, C4 and the Giulia Quadrafoglio. Especially the the GTA.
