avidinha Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I built this replica of Biff's '46 Ford from Back To The Future. I used the Testors kit. It came with parts to build it as a '46, '47 or '48. It was fun to learn the differences between the 3 years. I added the trim rings, the side mirror, the support bar between the bumper guards on the front bumper and printed my own plates. Everything else came in the box. 10 1
70 Sting Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Black and red, doesn't get any nicer than that. 🖤❤️
SpikeSchumacher Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Your paint work is outstanding Andrew!
Zippi Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Man oh man Andrew. That's a looker for sure dude.
Kromolly Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Well done! Now you just need to add the load of "fertilizer". I remember building this kit when I was a kid, and having the choice of model year.
karbuildr Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Excellent, a classic vehicle from a classic movie.
Dave Van Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Fantastic build!!!! Neat, clean and great paint. I love movie cars!! I am a little bias owning a real 46 Fat Ford!!!
alan barton Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 A stunning model, even more so considering what a challenge the Testors/IMC multi piece body is to assemble! You have really shown your talents with this achievement! Cheers Alan

espo Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Beautiful black paint job. Like the showroom stock appearance.
happy grumpy Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Great Scott ! A really nice replica. Thanks for sharing.
spencer1984 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Great job on this, and I hadn't realized the Testors kit had that option!
STU111 Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Biff deserved the load of manure, the car didn’t! That is a sweet build, glassy black paint and red trim, an unbeatable combination. 👍🏻

Yeah, having that option definitely made the kit worth building, but I thing I'll go ahead and use the Revell kit for the '48 from Karate Kid.
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Exceptionally nice work on a kit that gets a bad rap. Your photos show how good one of them can look, and how well proportioned the body is.
