It hasn't been my MO for the last number of years to produce more than one, or for that matter, even one model throughout the course of a year, and 2024 was no exception.

While I didn't finish anything between the months of January and December in 2024, my 2023 project began to make it's debut, and the rounds of the local shows in 2024, so in a way, I suppose I could consider it a 2022-2024 build.

It took me approximately 16 months to finish this project, and at the current rate, my next project may not be finished prior to 2026!

Beautifully done as usual. I have always enjoyed watching the details that you build into your builds. The realistic finishes as well as the most minute details I find amazing as well as informative to follow. Look forward to what you may build for 2025. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year as well.

Nice! Goes to show what can be done when you take your time and don't rush the process. Outstanding as always.

That's the whole point, right?

Diecasts are a lot easier if you just want something to plop on the shelf. ;)

Thanks Mr. Gibbs!

If I didn't know better. I'd believe I was looking at a real car. Your builds are always stunning and something to be proud of. Wish I had your talent.

A perfect example that the hobby is a pastime so what's the rush. Your obsession with accuracy, detailing and finishes right down to the exact texture or gloss level has produced this stunning lifelike replica. Congratulations Steve, this is the ultimate expression of quality over quantity.

Your work shows what can be accomplished with a box full of plastic, just amazing.  '60s Pontiacs are my thing so this one really hits all the buttons.  Thanks for keeping us informed and entertained by your skill and dedication to the hobby.

Hi Steve!

Wow, so spectacular, and realistic in the fit, textures, and choice of colors. A guy on my street had one just like yours back then. Bravo!

I can tell by the boxes on the shelf in the last picture that you have a soft spot for large cruisers from the 60's. That makes two of us!

Happy holidays!

Wow....what a fantastic Bonneville! Congrats on your accomplishments. It is perfect!!! I grew up riding in the back of my parent's Bonneville wagon. Will look for your next award winner in 2026...or before. Happy New Year!

Ya know, there's a lot to be said for "quality over quantity", Steve. ,, and you got it in spades.

Don't know about that magazine caption though, looks like the people responsible for it need to take a page out of your book on accuracy. 😉

Another fine automobile build Steve. I’ve been looking at all that under hood, and chassis  detail, and it just blows me away to see the time and work you put into this project. Amazing.
