AMT68 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Your paint work looks fabulous. I don't ever recall seeing one of these.
70 Sting Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Great looking wagon. Excellent finish and build quality. 👍 1
Falcon Ranchero Posted January 2 Posted January 2 WOW that's gorgeous; absolutely love the 1960 Plymouths. Was hoping to get my hands on a '60 Hardtop but if I can even get I wagon I'd be satisfied. I like how it's mildly customized with the wheels and the engine 👍 1
espo Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Beautiful looking paint and trim. Like the wheels and tires. The real '60 Plymouths weren't the most attractive looking cars but your version of it looks great. 1
Bainford Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Lovely work, Steve. I really like the style of this one. Very cool. 1
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Beautiful build! I need to get one of these. 1
Zippi Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Man that is so kewl looking Steve. That ole Hemi really fills up the engine bay on the ole 60 Plymouth Wagon. Nicelly done. 1
Steve H Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Great looking wagon Steve. Excellent colour choices, and smooooooth. That is A LOT of beautifully applied BMF 🥵. Sits just right too, especially with those wheels. 1

Can-Con Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Thanks again, everyone. Now that I'm feeling better I'll add some info,, The paint is HOK candy root beer over, IIRC, a sandy gold metallic base. It's been over 10 years since I had painted it so some details are a bit fuzzy. Basic engine, under hood details and front suspension parts are from the AMT '57 Chrysler 300 with the fuel injection setup from the AMT '53 Ford pickups optional hemi. Wheels and tires are from the Revell '57 Chevy snap kit. I just got lucky with the foil coming out as good as it did. Never did anything different then I usually do. Hope everyone has s great 2025. 🙂
eastown Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Thats a great job Steve. Everything looks spot on. Well done. Bob 1
curb Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Very nice build, Steve. Did you use the Revell Chrome Spray on the chrome parts?
