DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 This one is from one of the Round 2 releases. The engine is the KFS 1693. The grille is from Detail Master. The stripes are from Modeltrucker decals. I’m building a flatbed to go behind it, it will get air lines then. And yes, I left this one clean.😀 17
Jim B Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Great looking Peterbilt. I really like the Winslow Stripes. Well done. Is that the kit engine?

Jim B Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Thanks. Missed that in the text the first time I read it. I'm planning to put one of those in a W900.
David G. Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Excellent detail and paint, love the decals too! A beautiful build! David G.
leafsprings Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Excellent graphics and paint scheme, spot on for the 70's look, super clean build, really like the engine upgrade, single stack and Eaton axle hubs. Edited January 26 by leafsprings
Old Buckaroo Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Brian that is just stunning, reminds me of an add right out of "Owner Operator" magazine. I can only echo what everyone else has said about the graphics and engine.
vincen47 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Great build. Nice wheels, and I love the engine choice. You spec’d this truck very well.
vincen47 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 The sleeper window is great. Haven’t seen a build with that option before. Awesome.

It is the same tape that I covered my Carolina Reefer trailer with. On 1/26/2025 at 6:25 AM, PappyD340 said: Super nice Pete, well done Brian! Thanks Larry!! I had never seen a single window like this before, but there was a 74 model on line for sale that had this single window with a factory rollup curtain to cover it in the sleeper. 22 hours ago, yh70 said: looks good Thanks Dave!! 19 hours ago, Jürgen M. said: A really nice Pete! JerseeJerry55 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 WOW!!! That is awesome. Very realistic. You have given me inspiration for the next few projects I have planned. IH CO4070A (two of them). Mack Cruiseliner, and the KW W925(using the Alaskan Hauler kit I just got on Saturday). As much as the O/O units of the 1970's early 1980's (Pete 352, 359. KW W925, K123, and White Freightliner's) were extremely nice examples, I did appreciate the fleet units, somewhat more. BTW how difficult was it to put the Winslow stripes on the cab?
trick my mixer Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Looks great. It is refreshing to see a single stack truck, although I am partial to twin stacks. Great job.!!!
OldTrucker Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Beautiful build. Brings back fond memories of my early years driving. Where did you get the 5 hole wheels?
