Let me start with the [blankity blank] Apple weather app, I go off the opposite of what it says.  For example, in my Photos window:

So I brought in the new Lavender plant.

Before sundown it looked like this:

This morning:

Around 1:00, note pile of snow downhill from PV panels:

Around 3:30 on the mountain bike, wind was a little chilly.

If you don't like the weather, wait about 5 minutes. 🤪  We celebrate any moisture.   I better launch some model rockets soon. 🚀

Wow. As we have discussed before, my M.I.L. lived off of Willow Creek near the old Hastings store from 1992 until her stroke and dementia kicked in and we brought her here in 2013. I don't remember ever hearing her talk about snow in Prescott in April. It seemed to be a winter thing that fell, thawed, and froze into icy patches around her neighborhood. I got her Explorer stuck in a slippery parking spot at Thumb Butte once when the spousal unit and I went there for a winter hike, but that would have been in December. Ford Touch Drive 4wd and an open rear differential was not optimal for backing out of a parking spot.

Beautiful day here in southern Manitoba. It got up to 19C (66F). Put the roof down on the MX-5 and went for a 350 km ride through Whiteshell Provincial Park. The roads are very twisty but large sections are in terrible condition so I stuck to the speed limit….mostly.😎

Saturday broke 80 degrees, I was at my girlfriend's assembling deck furniture all day. We duid have shade to work in.

Easter was breezy and cooler out. Today, it was 40 F when I got up.

Took the motorhome out and went camping over Easter weekend. Only went about 3 hours away, up in the mountains. Beautiful weekend except for for Saturday night between 10:00 - 10:30. Vicious thunderstorm wiped up and had sustained winds over 40mph with gusts up to 75mph. The RV got shook pretty good. Heard branches hitting it, but luckily they were all small. Looks like all the big branches and trees landed in empty camping spaces. We heard chainsaws all night and the power was still out when we left Sunday morning. Could see the remains of all the big trees that fell across the road. Was interesting to be stuck in that storm and realizing the fiberglass and aluminum was not going to stop anything with any size to it from crushing our camper. Storm lasted 20-30 minutes and moved on to wreak havoc elsewhere. I now know I could not live in areas prone to tornadoes.

Last Saturday it didn't go over 70ºF, and had gusts.  Sunday was a big mountain bike race, everyone at the finish line were wearing jackets.  I'm next week someone will leave the oven door open.

This is the 1st day I haven't had the heat on in the morning. Yesterday hit 73, I had the '66 Belair out for a drive.

I even did some messy model car work outside while sipping a beer or two.

Beautiful sunny morning, already above 10 degrees (celsius). But the weather channel says 80% rain right now, into the aft, and sun in the evening, so not actually sure why the sun's out now, but it is quite pleasant.

I don't know what that beautiful piece of machinery is, but now I actually want one.

It hasn't rained here in awhile so I finally watered plants in the yard yesterday and told the wife "It will rain now". Rained over night and this morning.

You are not in luck, it's the only one in existence, homemade.

We had what amounted to a tempest, looked almost like monsoon season, then about an hour later it was almost clear.
