thebavarian Posted March 30 Posted March 30 This kit from Accurate Miniatures is about 30 years old. It is difficult to built in some parts. The accuracy of fit repeatedly leads to problems especially during the final assembly. The photoetched parts, which are included, ensure for a good look of the hood. I fixed the hood witch two mini magnets. The wiring of the motor prevents that the hood closed perfect in the right back corner. 21
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Great build of an historic winning vette. Fun to see this. Thanks for posting. 1
Pierre Rivard Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Thomas, welcome to the Accurate Miniature survivor's club. Not many of us have completed this kit. It's a finicky one but the car is a beautiful brute and worth the effort. A beautiful build for sure! 1
89AKurt Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I feel your pain, most handmade resin kits are a slog. Beautiful job! I find the brake booster location interesting (after still trying to get my real car's brakes working, it just looks wrong 😉). 1
Nacho Z Posted Sunday at 11:16 PM Posted Sunday at 11:16 PM Very nice, Thomas! It is nice to see these built. I’m thinking that there are a lot of started but not finished ones out there…lol. 1
