This kit from Accurate Miniatures is about 30 years old. It is difficult to built in some parts. The accuracy of fit repeatedly leads to problems especially during the final assembly. The photoetched parts, which are included, ensure for a good look of the hood. I fixed the hood witch two mini magnets. The wiring of the motor prevents that the hood closed perfect in the right back corner.

Thomas, welcome to the Accurate Miniature survivor's club. Not many of us have completed this kit. It's a finicky one but the car is a beautiful brute and worth the effort. A beautiful build for sure!

I feel your pain, most handmade resin kits are a slog.  Beautiful job!  I find the brake booster location interesting (after still trying to get my real car's brakes working, it just looks wrong 😉).

Very nice, Thomas!  It is nice to see these built.  I’m thinking that there are a lot of started but not finished ones out there…lol.

  • Thanks 1
