Finished this build of the Moebius California Flash kit a few weeks ago. I had intended to build the kit as the Butch Leal car as it would of raced in the mid 70's, but there was limited info on the rear suspension, not sure if it was a four link, leaf link, or just leaf springs, so I did a no name build my way. I narrowed the Dana for the Revell 68 Charger, moved the springs inboard of the frame rails and added ladder bars. Used many kit bashed parts as well as photo etched, 3d,resin and scratch built parts.  Tranny is from Comp Resins. Double drilled super tricks from Future Attraction with lug nuts and valve stems. Moroso tach also from Future Attraction. Paint is MCW B5 electric blue. Expect for the ill fitting front and rear glass I found the kit to be very well engineered. Comments welcomed.

That’s one beautiful Plymouth build.  Paint is amazing, as the engine detail. I like the tach drive on the distributor housing. Definitely a nice touch.

The engine bay is my favorite part. An amazing job on the dual carb throttle linkage and fuel lines, one of the best detailed hemi's I've seen posted in this forum. Sweet!

Here's some chassis pictures. I cut out the stock well  tubs and added the one's from the AMT 66 Nova pro street kit, with some filing they fit perfectly. Kind of my home-build rear end configuration.

Just a beautiful model Dennis, in regard to your opening comments, I’ve found by checking out the NHRA rule book you can determine what was allowed and not allowed for just about class of car your building. I have some from my earlier racing days and there very helpful. Where did yo source your fuel lines and fittings, I’m so jealous I really struggled with fuel lines on my builds and usually leave them off. Yours are probably the best I’ve ever seen!

Thanks all for the kind comments. Kevin, the carbs are from Fireball. Roger, the fuel lines are from Pro Tech, .018 from regulator to the carbs. They are copper core, which I usually strip out so they will fit snug into the fittings. The A/N fittings are from RB Motion, they come anodized,.031. I've used RB Motions products for close to twenty years, in fact all the carb linkage was done using their products, great stuff, but be warned, it takes forever to receive an order and usually he doesn't answer emails.
