Mike 1017 Posted Wednesday at 12:59 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:59 PM Eleanor Mustang Not a Copyrightable Character, Court Affirms 1
Bainford Posted Wednesday at 01:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:22 PM (edited) The article is primarily about the fake Eleanor '67 Mustang, though perhaps the principle applies to real Eleanor as well. Denise Halicki (copyright claimant) is mentioned, though real Eleanor isn't. Annoyingly, by virtue of the article, the uninitiated might believe that the '67 Mustang thing is Eleanor, but that is the typical incompetence of online articles. Revell can make all the '67 Eleanor kits it wants, but I won't take my place in line until they produce an original Eleanor which, fortunately, is entirely plausible. If the info in the article applies, I think it is even likely. Edited Thursday at 12:25 AM by Bainford 1
