eran_k Posted July 4 Posted July 4 This is the the AMT "Old Pro" Nova, done this time stock, rusted and neglected, since the interior is not very visible, i included one picture from the build before it was installed, hope you like it 13
Zippi Posted July 4 Posted July 4 That turned out pretty kewl looking Eran. Nice job on the weathering. 1
Geno Posted July 4 Posted July 4 That is sweet. Kinda reminds me of Axel Foleys ride in Beverly Hills Cop.💯😎 2
XYHARRY Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I agree with Geno, a great likeness to the Beverly Hills Cop ride. Excellent Weathering, well done Eran. 2
Spex84 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Great weathering! I particularly like the way you handled the smeared, dusty glass and the choice to haze the rear driver's-side wheel and tire with dirt. It gives the whole thing a nice visual balance and contrast, and some personality too! 1
ea0863 Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Eran, you are clearly a weathering master! Just awesome how realistic this build is. Thank you for posting! 1
espo Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Having lived off and on for years in the "Rust Belt" let me just say this is a disturbingly accurate looking poor old, tired Nova. The basic body color sort of reminds me of the Beverly Hills Cop movie car that the Axel character that was the cop from Detroit drove. Great accuracy in the finishes throughout including the interior. 1
AMT68 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 From rust to dust and torn seat covers the weathering on that Nova is as good as it gets. 1
satterwhite78 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 5 Stars! Just between you and me....a lot of that ain't gonna buff out... 1
STU111 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Realistic rust and weathering is an art form l believe. It’s easy to go too far, but you’ve nailed it. That’s nicely balanced. Awesome work there. 👍🏻 1
Dragonhawk1066 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Great job on the weathering! Being from Michigan that's how I remember pretty much every Nova I had seen for many years. 1
slusher Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Very realistic weathering looks outstanding! Edited July 8 by slusher 1
