I saw this Model at a flea Market and the idea popped into head instantly. Then I found someone crazy enough to have built the real thing. Jay's Resin Wheels supplied the LSx, tires and wheels. This should be interesting.

Cool project. I will be watching, for sure. I have a highly modified Silver Cloud project coming up, too. I am eager to see how you tackle this one.

I'm pretty sure this is a typo, but I think it accurately describes the ideas entering my own head.ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

Using that Minicraft kit of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud you have the basic setup from which to build your hot rod idea Billy . . .

Although a hot rod version of this fine motor car is not my ' cup of tea ' really, I shall be interested to see how you get on !

It was but it accurately described the moment as is.๐Ÿ˜‰

I built one of these a couple of years ago, totally stock of course. The area where the front fenders meet the doors is a nightmare! ๐Ÿ˜ฎย I spent most of my time with this one correcting that. It looks like these rough spots even show in the box art on your version of the kit. :Dย ย

I'm very interested to see where you go with this, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

That old Minicraft (originally Hubley) Rolls Royce kit really is poorly moulded. So using it for making a custom car is not exactly sacrilege !ย  ย This looks like a fun build to follow !

Pity the kit was not a lot better as there are no other kits of this particular car in 1/24th scale. I think that Danbury Mint did a collectable die cast Silver Cloud. There is a modeller I believe who has been dabbling with both kit and die cast to make something accurate.

Thought about getting 2 and do a cut and shut to make John Lennon's psychedelic limmo. Too much hard work !

This is totally my kind of hot rod. The more unusual, the better. I will be following for sure.ย
