charger74 Posted Sunday at 05:27 PM Posted Sunday at 05:27 PM Finished this little sunbeam Tiger yesterday. Its not AMT’s best kit, but its not the worse!!!! Paint and clear is tamiya spray cans. I think it came out pretty nice. Thanks for looking 20
Cosmic D Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM Posted Sunday at 06:04 PM One of my favorite subjects - I like the detail work on the dash. 2
Jim B Posted Sunday at 06:27 PM Posted Sunday at 06:27 PM That's pretty neat! Well done. Looks like it's about the size of a MG or Triumph, so it probably doesn't take up much shelf space. 1
espo Posted Sunday at 06:31 PM Posted Sunday at 06:31 PM Beautiful looking paint finish and the perfect color. Clean looking body trim. 1
kelson Posted Sunday at 10:46 PM Posted Sunday at 10:46 PM Can't go wrong with a red convertible!!.👍 2

Rich Chernosky Posted Monday at 01:16 PM Posted Monday at 01:16 PM Don't think "pretty nice" really covers this build. Its more like fantastic. I owned one of these cars and have this kit done so I can well appreciate this model.

Geno Posted Tuesday at 12:12 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:12 PM I love these Tigers, you did it justice. Great job.💯🤑
peter31a Posted Tuesday at 01:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:04 PM My uncle had one when I was a kid! Great little car. You did a beautiful clean build of this little Tiger.
Brudda Posted Tuesday at 01:45 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:45 PM I have this amt kit and the kit is a little dated. But you made it really nice. Great job.
iwantmodels Posted Tuesday at 09:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:26 PM Nice build. I remember these cars from a few old movies in the sixties.
Ragtop Man Posted Wednesday at 12:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:02 AM My neighbor restored a 1:1 Alpine for his daughter's 16th birthday backinnaday. IIRC he found a Tiger (!) parts car that was a worn out SCCA racer for parts... thought the V8 was no bueno, he loved the little high winding engines. 1

Spex84 Posted Wednesday at 03:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:00 PM Great job; I like the Quebec plates on it! I was cruising Kijiji recently and found some Alpines for sale, but I don't often see Tigers....so I guess a 1/25 version fills the gap!
michelle Posted Wednesday at 10:18 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:18 PM very cool you don't see these built that often and also do not see the real ones on the road that ofter either
Kah puts Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Posted yesterday at 02:40 AM Bully for you, you managed to find one that wasn’t warped. Absolutely top drawer build. I also owned one of these Cobra’s with wind up windows, just a blast to drive. I sold mine for a down payment on a home, cried like a baby all the way to the bank, still miss it 👍
