W-409 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Real nice Altered! I like the stance and wheels and tires are looking good too. Engine looks good (348 and 409 are my favorites ) detailing is very nice and engine color is very near original. I like that Cowl Bros picture on the door, but little minus comes from that paint- it would look better with glossy metallic paint, I think... Nice work with the interior too, it looks really autentic. I like this very much!
Terry Sumner Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Alright! This is really nice! AND...you get it...you didn't call it a Gasser simply because the front end is up in the air!
Guest Markus355 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 awesome. looks incredible. Really. thought i dont think the spic and span engine jives with the patina'd rod. a nice candy red would look awesome but thats me... i like shiny bits
High octane Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Very nice job on the altered Ron, very nice!
Jantrix Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Wow. That is some great work! And the photography is top notch. Very authentic.
FASTBACK340 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Wow. That is some great work! And the photography is top notch. Very authentic. My thoughts too.... The photography is awesome. No place to hide with being sloppy, and boy.... no worries here! Surgical-precise assembly. Good use of colors really makes it visually appealing. And the weathering.... Wow. Man.... that's a sweet build. I love it!
John Pol Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Well real nice job love this gassers bye the way did you make those stacks? John Pol

Olds Rocket 88 Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 No reference car Sean, started going to the drags as a teen in the 60's, always loved the altereds and gassers. Guess it's all still in my memory.
Greg Pugh Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Me likey!!! I knew I was gonna like this when I saw your powerplant!! Turned out awesome!
Daniel Peterson Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Hey Ron! That's a very well executed build of a really cool subject! And the photos really do it justice! Something tells me this will be in the club's April newsletter...don't ask me how I know this. =)
Foxer Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 This shows what a little detail painting can do to up the level of a build. A great job on a wonderful cut of history!
